Bal D’Afrique is an olfactive translation of the family diaries found by Byredo’s founder, Ben Gorham, detailing his father’s life and travels in Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya. African marigold, bergamot and buchu thrive atop a base of vetiver and Moroccan cedarwood. Sparkling moments of violet and cyclamen make a vibrant interjection. A rich romance, complex in its composition. This meltingly rich hand cream is presented in a playful, optimistic design featuring a dripping paint print, a nod to the original aluminium tubing that resembles an artist's paint tube.
